I recently lost all my Brave Bookmarks on my laptop since a tech guy had to change my SSD. I did no have an account with Brave when that unfortunate thing happened. 1) Is there a way to recuperate them or it is lost forever (I had more than 100 favorites). 2) Now, is there a way to sync my new Bookmarks and Favorites accross all my devices once an for all ?
@Ripleys If you don’t have access to the old SSD or backups, the bookmarks are likely gone.
As for syncing bookmarks across devices, Brave’s sync feature can help keep your bookmarks and other data consistent across all your devices. You can create a sync chain with your existing devices, and as long as one device remains active on the chain, it can generate a new sync code to add more devices and share data. However, please note that the sync feature is not a backup solution. The sync code changes daily, so it can’t be used to recover data if all devices are lost or reset.
Thank you for your help Saoiray. Believe It or Not, I manage to delete ALL my pictures from my laptop and my backup hard drive (long story). I do have access to my old SSD since the device is currently in a Recovery data brick and mortar store. I will ask them if they can find my old bookmarks.
Regarding the sync. option, what do you mean by :‘’ as one device remain active ‘’ ? Also, can you show me a screenshot, if possible, of the sync option on Brave ? I have no clue where I could find this option.

Update.
On my other computer, my desktop, the one I currently use for profesionnal purposes, I do have a different set of Bookmarks.
I did this test. I opened Windows C, User, then my name. I found Bookmarks… but it’s empty !!! Looks like this file is only valid for the one using Outlook (or Edge ?).
Now, obviously, I had a set of bookmarks designed for my laptop, and another set of bookmarks designed for my desktop. I never sync anything in my computer world, yet. I don’t have an account from Brave, just using their wonderful (and fast) browser. All in all, I wonder where one could find their own bookmarks using Brave ? Do you follow me ? My english is not perfect !
