Bookmarks Bar missing now on New Tab Page as of Windows Version 0.68.131-- bad idea

Its very frustrating and now i have also returned to google chrome because of this.
BRING BACK BOOKMARK SHOW TAB ONLY like the way it used to.

Is a simple option of “show Bookbar bar on new tab only” in options and bookmark menu really too much to ask for?
