Bookmarks are not carrying over from my laptop to desktop computer

When I open Brave on my office desktop, the bookmarks I saved do not appear.

I’m logged into the same Gmail account on both Laptop and Desktop. I open Brave browser expecting to go to the same bookmarks I saved at home on my laptop. Unfortunately, the bookmarks are not transferring over. Am I missing something or is this a bug?

brave is not google chrome but you can achive the same thing using the sync option

The sync option is horrible. If you have to reinstall the brave browser for any reason the chain code is useless, doesnt work. yes chrome is awesome for its auto install feature when logging into google, unfortunately brave doesnt do this. It was this issue plus the fact there is no webpage translation available natively in brave that made me switch to the new Edge browser and I love it, NEVER thought I would say that but I do. Anyway good luck.
