Bookmarks always get sorted by name

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. After organizing my bookmarks in the order I want them to be displayed, they always get re-sorted by Brave to alphabetical order.
  2. I haven’t figured out when Brave does this. I don’t close the browser, but after some period of time, I notice the sort order has changed. They always go back to “sorted by name.”
  3. I found an option to sort by name in the Bookmarks manager, but I did not select this option. It seems to be “enabled” by default, and I can’t turn it off.

Expected result:
Brave should NOT re-sort my bookmarks unless I tell it to.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.21.73 Chromium: 89.0.4389.72 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hello @bbishop

could you try to disable all extension and see if it work fine or not ?

if it work then renable the extension one by one till you get the one that cause the issue

When I first started organizing my Bookmarks, I had enabled iCloud Bookmarks so that I could import. I have now disabled it. We’ll see if that fixes the problem. Thanks.
