Bookmark transfer from Chrome

Good day, I have attempted to transfer my bookmarks, browsing history, etc. from Chrome. An error message dialogue box box pops up to advise closing chrome which I have. Yet, the error message continues to pop up. I have restarted my PC, which is a windows 7 without opining Chrome, and the same error message pops up.

What should I do to transfer the information to Brave?

Open your task manager before importing and ensure you kill all Chrome processes – this includes any updaters or helper processes that may be running, not just instances of the browsers itself.

Then launch Brave and attempt the import.
