Running Brave 1.62.165 on macOS 14.3.1.
When I select ‘Bookmarks/Bookmark This Tab’, the attached image appears. Brave immediately adds the bookmark to a folder Brave was already pointed to, in this case ‘Interesting’.
I’m then given the choice ‘Remove’ or ‘Done’.
How do I get Brave to let me choose the destination folder AFTER I select ‘Bookmark This Tab’? That’s the way it used to work.
I’ve reset Brave’s settings to defaults and restarted it as well as the computer.

We are experiencing the same issue and believe it would enhance the bookmarking experience if the destination folder option were visible in the bookmarking dialog. Some of us organize our bookmarks into different folders, and having the ability to choose the destination folder directly in the bookmarking dialog would be beneficial and streamline our bookmarking flow.
Alternatively, a settings option to always display the destination folder selection when adding a new bookmark for users who frequently organize their bookmarks into various folders would be welcomed.
We appreciate any help with this and thank you for considering these suggestions.
