Bookmark Matches Not Auto-filling In Address Bar

I think this started a couple of versions ago (maybe 20.28). If I start to type a bookmark in the address bar, I no longer get the autofill. I either have to fully type the full URL or use my mouse to navigate the bookmarks menu and click on the bookmark (or enable history matches for it to work - see below).

I verified that “Show bookmark matches” is on in preferences.

I ended up turning on “Show history matches” in preferences and then things started to work (basically the opposite of this past bug: [Solved]Bookmark search through URL bar not working when history search is also enabled).

Notes:
I have bookmarks stored on the bookmarks toolbar as well as the “Bookmarks” folder on the toolbar for easy access (I click on the folder for a list of other bookmarks and subfolders w/ bookmarks).
