Blocking an extension on a specific site?

I develop embedded websites, and although I love 1Password I never want it to pop up while I’m doing my work. I’ve looked into configuring 1Password to disable itself for specific sites, but can’t figure out how to do it.

Is there a way to configure Brave to not load an extension on a specific website?

Easiest method:

In a Brave Browser New Window, go to:

  • brave://extensions/

Disable the 1Password extension.

Visit the “specific website.”

Before I share what I’m going to I’d like to preface it with this:

There are vulnerabilities to using AutoFill, I suggest doing the test at the bottom of this webpage: https://privacy.net/analyzer/
Step 2. Autofill Leak Test will show you more about what I mean

So with that said, I might suggest completely disabling 1Password extension completely/permanently and then just copy/pasting using the “Show Quick Access” keyboard shortcut or 1Password menu icon.

You can find out more about the Quick Access function from going to:
1Password App > Settings > General (default opening page) >
:white_check_mark: Keep 1Password in menu bar
Choose from the dropdown menu: Click the icon to: “Show Quick Access”

Then down below see what the Keyboard Shortcut is for “Show Quick Access” e.g. Shift+Command+Space

& use 1Password from there  :+1:

Also you’ll likely need to turn off Autofill built into Brave once you do (disable password manager extension) so, go into each of the menus/submenus within: brave://settings/autofill and turn off everything.
