Is there some way to turn on automatic notification of update availability?

Is there some way to turn on automatic notification of update availability? This is on Windows. As it is, I check every so often, so it’s no big deal. But other Chromium based browsers do, so I was wondering. Also what about automatic updates? Thank you.
