Bing Sponsored ads NOT Blocked

I am using Brave Version 1.73.97 Chromium: 131.0.6778.108 (Official Build) (arm64)

It is installed on macOS Sequoia 15.1.1

I am getting “Sponsored” ads when I search on Bing.

Try searching for “forever white grout reviver” and you will see the “Sponsored” ads.

Can anyone please help get rid of these, I do not want these ads in my search results.

Try to BLOCK the element and thereby store a custom filter at:

brave://settings/shields/filters

How to . . .

Hopefully @Fanboynz will help you. When he does drop by, please ask him to suggest some guidance on how to tackle the frustrating parts of trying to block/hide the “Sponsored” ads.

Enjoyed reading the article above, really explains everything in detail, and the article is very interesting and effective. Thank you and good luck with the upcoming articles.

I have indeed tried many different filter lists and using the element hider function with no success in getting rid of these “Sponsored” ads in Bing search results.

Brave users have been told that if we have a problem with things not being blocked that we should come here and report the missed ads.

It is your ad blocker that you guys have built and designed, so could you please try to provide a little help with your ad blocker.

A couple screenshots, might help @fanboynz

Hi,

Sorry, but no Screenshots are available as this has been fixed by uBO

I reported this on Reddit on their r/uBlockOrigin page and they and few posters jumped on to it straight away.

A fix was promptly issued by uBO and it soon updated into the Brave’s Shields as they are based upon uBO.

Please STOP REPLYING.

I do know how to use the Element hider and create ad blocking filters.

I tried all those options before posting here, but some ad blocking issues are complex and need the extra help of a professional skilled in dealing with difficult cases.
