Given that I, at least, have reported weather forecast sites as being blocked, I’m going to assume that the lists are in flux, that parties are “reporting” the blocked sites as “spreading malware.” I will also assume, at significant risk, that weather and news sites are not distributing malware, and have been reported as some sort of retaliatory bullshit. As a result, the reports of the sites spreading malware should be ignored, and whoever the douchebags that started this are should be banned from the internet because they are fucking idiots.

Point of clarification: I’m not referring to you @wallygator88 or anyone else in the Brave community reporting blockages, here. I mean people manipulating the lists (lists maintained by companies like Spam404, Disconnect) by sending false reports, if that is indeed what’s occurring.

There are several threads complaining about this BUT they are all being closed!!! I don’t believe it is politically related but the number of sites seem to be growing! This morning it happened with Washingtonpost.com and driving.ca, both of which display the orange screen, referenced elsewhere. I can’t even post that link here because it triggers the orange screen on this page!!! So, I’ve uploaded an image showing the screen and the link. Anybody know WHAT IS HAPPENING?

That’s the old Muon based version. I don’t think it can automatically upgrade to the new, Chromium based version.

If you don’t have to use the old version (some users have to for various reasons), check this out:

THANK YOU! I was just running the update under ABOUT menu and it was not updating to the Chrome version. I manually downloaded/installed the new version and everything is working fine. Thanks again…
