BAT rewards safe on Uphold?

Description of the issue:
I am nervous about BAT rewards sitting on my Desktop. I thought if my computer needs reinstalling, I lose the BATs. Not sure if this is right?
So, I figured out how to transfer the BAT rewards to the Uphold wallet. If my computer is reinstalled, will my BAT be safe on Uphold or for that matter on the default Brave wallet?

How can this issue be reproduced?
Not a technical issue.

Expected result:
BATs to be safe if computer crashes.

Brave Version( check About Brave):
1.27.111 Chromium: 92.0.4515.131 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Yes you are right, if the BATs are just stored on your Device, and you reset/update it, you will lose all the BATs.

And yeah, Uphold is a safe place to store your BATs. After linking it to your Browser you can just forget about it, as it will be getting sent to your Uphold Account regularly.
