Hi, I turned off auto contribute on all my browsers. When I started my browser today 1 BAT was sent to Brave Software. I went out of way to disable auto contribute.
Is there a way to reverse that, and this should not be enabled by default. We barely make anything off ads and it is giving me a reason to turn them off all together and warn others to not bother if this keeps happening. In the past I just turned the feature back off, but auto-contribute being turned on after an update, should not be an issue.
Auto-contribute is on by default if you recently connected/verified your profile. If you recently connected a device this past month, that is likely the profile where it was enabled.

Thanks for the response, I submitted a support ticket a few days ago and waiting for a reply. This brower had it off by default and I was using it for months with auto contribute off. This was the first time it automatically gave BAT to Brave without my knowledge (first thing I do when installing brave on a new device is enabled rewards and disable auto-contribute)
