I’d like Backspace to go one page back. This is pretty standard.

Thanks!

Hi @leftystrat,
Thanks for the feedback.

This functionality was removed intentionally. See https://github.com/brave/browser-laptop/issues/5781#issuecomment-262096122 for more info about this.

However an issue logged to bring it back as an option. Here

Thank you,

Alternatively, you can use CTRL + [ to go back one page (as well as CTRL + ] ) to go forward.

Hope this helps

As discussed in 6156, I like the idea of backspace, but turned off by
default.

There’s another Big Browser, some sort of fox or something, that has
backspace turned off by default (at least for linux).

I appreciate the space to comment and suggest.

I just installed Brave for android. I like it so far.
What do you think of an option to Forget Everything upon exit?
I know it’s in private mode by definition.

Thanks.

Hi @leftystrat,

Brave on Android have close tabs on exit option but it’ll not clear history, etc. Another issue logged for that

That’s great on all sides - thanks.
The tinfoil brigade salutes you.

On desktop, I default to no javascript, no cookies, then allow per site.
One day, android browsers will allow this, probably via extensions.
