Background geolocation

To the devs,

background geolocation for the web has not been implemented in any browser, its specification itself seems to be stalled, it seems that w3c has other priorities, unless it is a big money story. Could this be a security breach? Not if protection mechanisms are put in place, such as the obligation to go to the settings to authorize it, as well as the persistence of an icon in the notification area.

This feature is expected by many developers. It is certain that the first browser to implement it will win points.
