Autoplay does not work even though it is turned on in the main YT application. If we go to the YT settings after logging in to Brave, the “enable autoplay” option is not visible at all. What to do?

Autoplay may be disabled in the Brave browser due to its privacy settings. To fix this, try the following:

  1. Allow autoplay in Brave settings: Go to “Settings” > “Shields” and disable any shields blocking autoplay.
  2. Check site settings: In the Brave browser, click on the padlock icon next to the URL and ensure autoplay is allowed for YouTube.
  3. Clear cache: Try clearing your browser cache or logging out and back into YouTube.
