Same here, with gnu/linux. works fine, but for the last 3 or 4 days i have the same issue.
I changed the shortcut properties to “Run as administrator” and now it works fine. Googled the error message and it seems like it is a common error on Chrome. Not 100% certain that it was the solution but for now everything is fine.
