Auto contribution enabled after update

Description of the issue:
How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. update brave from 1.18.70 to 1.18.75
  2. go to brave://rewards/
  3. find that the Auto-Contribute enabled while it was disabled before update

Expected result:
Auto-Contribute should stay as it was before update
Brave Version( check About Brave):

Version 1.18.75 Chromium: 87.0.4280.101 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Additional Information:
using linux centos 8.3
just wanted to mentioned that there is no bat lost

Thank you for the feedback. Can you confirm that ac.enabled is found on the brave://rewards-internals page, under the “Events Log” tab? And that it has a recent timestamp, coinciding with your update from v1.18.70 to v1.18.75?

nope the last 2 values of the ac.enable as follow

12/19/2020, 09:26:16 AM ac.enabled 0 this is of course after the update when i discovered it turned on by itself and i turned it off

10/13/2020, 06:06:37 PM ac.enabled 0

i guess 0 mean false that it should be off
so maybe it was GUI bug which do not read the value as it should be i am not sure

You’re correct, a value of 0 means disabled in this context.
