when attaching a file the file always goes up with zero size or has an error on the desktop

Do you have extensions installed? Try with them disabled, and/or a Private window. And you could try creating a new profile as well, and see if it happens there.
A few instances of this I’ve seen Chrome users report on random Internet forums, looks like it’s usually antimalware software or an extension causing it.
There were also some suggestions to clear the cache and so on. But if you create a new profile, I think that profile gets its own cache, so that should be a good test for you to try.
