Hello, I am going to update my Android os on my mobile, after that I will do factory reset, because it is recommended after os update.
So all my apps will be deleted by factory reset. And I will install them after update and reset.
I already created and qr sync for new brave. But I am not sure, if I will be able to sync old data via created QR code if old “chain” will not be longer existing in time when I will want to restore old browser data.
Is it possible to do that?

@davidcze sync code changes daily. You may want to check out Daily Expiring Sync Codes: Not Meant for Backup
If you do on the same day, it shouldn’t be a problem. But there is one other potential issue, which is that some have been reporting issues of not being able to sync passwords using Android 14. This issue is being looked into but been happening randomly since February. So if you can find a secondary way export or save your passwords, you may want to do that.
Guess big aspect worth repeating is not to rely on it to retain everything. While it can and often does work well, there’s no guarantees.

I successfully synced my mobile browser with new computer browser. I choosed all datal like bookmarks, history, cards and other but I don´t see any data in new compuetr browser. How to finalize sync?
