The Brave Ads program made its way onto Developer channel today. Some users have reported encountering Ads without opting into the program:

If you’re seeing Brave Ads and don’t believe you should, you can turn off Ads by:

  • Opening your Rewards Panel --> Rewards Settings --> Ads

  • Entering brave://rewards into the address bar

I am facing this issue as well and the solution mentioned doesn’t work for me as I haven’t opted into the Ads program at all (as is the title of the issue). Are the devs working to fix this?
