Description of the issue:
When I need to open an app and login to it with a browser, the app opens in Safari instead of Brave, despite Brave being my default. This also occurs with any links opened straight from an app outside of Brave. Brave is currently up to date.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open iOS app that requires verification of login, like ID.me etc.
- App will open the website to verify in Safari, not Brave
- Open a link straight from an app, such as reddit, the articles will always open in Safari, despite Brave being the default for links.
Expected result:
Links should open in the default browser I’ve selected. I’ve never willingly used Safari and I hate that it opens a browser I do not trust.

I can see this is a problem every so often and they say it resolves or can be worked around, but the listed fixes for previous versions do not appear to work.
