Appearance option "Same as Linux" no longer appears

Description of the issue:
With the update to 1.75.175, the option “Settings > Appearance > Brave Colors” no longer has the option “Same as Linux”. See attached photos.

How can this issue be reproduced?
Go to “Settings > Appearance > Brave Colors” click the drop-down and see the options.

Expected result:
The options should include “Same as Linux”

Brave Version( check About Brave):
Version 1.75.175

Additional Information:
To confirm this was a brave-only issue and not affected by other updates, I reverted the system back to obtain the screenshot of the previous version. I then updated only Brave and confirmed the behavior was exhibited. For now, I’m sticking with the previous version which doesn’t have this issue.

Same here, the dreaded dark mode I was waiting for years, brings back bad memories.
It defaults in a mode (dark in my case) and changes when I toggle the mode back&forth in GNOME, doesn’t start in the right one.

Version : v1.75.175

With the v1.75.178 update, this option has been restored. Dark mode is back and working as expected.
