Android version will not open when moved to external storage

Description of the issue:

When I move Brave to External Storage (SD Card), it does not open.
A window pops up saying “Brave has stopped”, or “Brave keeps stopping”.
When I move it back to Device Storage, it works fine.

How can this issue be reproduced?

  1. Use Android App Manger to change the Storage for Brave to External Storage.
  2. Try to open Brave. Popup window says “Brave has stopped”, or “Brave keeps stopping”.
  3. Use the App Manager to change the Storage back to Device Storage.
  4. Open Brave. It works fine.

Expected result:

Brave should open and work fine when installed in External Storage.

Brave Version( check About Brave): 1.48.171

Mobile Device details:
Samsung Galaxy S7 phone, running Android 8.0.0

Additional Information:
Originally, the App Manager said Brave was using 1.53 GB of Device Storage.
When I moved it to External Storage, the App Manger says it uses 484 MB of storage.
When I moved it back to Device Storage, the App Manager says it uses 510 MB of storage.
