On Brave for Android, the browser always starts with the home page set to the last page I viewed. In Settings->Homepage, I have it set to “On” and “Open this page” is set to https://google.com/
But each time I open the browser, it goes to the last page I was viewing rather than google.com. I tried force stopping the app and clearing cache, but the issue persists. How can I always make it go to the specified home page regardless of my last browsing session?
Look for a setting, something to the effect of:
Continue where you left off
that might be a problem.
Clear cookies, cache, history, etc.
In a Brave Browser New Window, go to:
brave://settings/clearBrowserData
Select the Advanced tab
Set Time range to “All time”
ENABLE everything except:
(Myself, I would NOT make that exception)
(because I would have a backup prepared.)
(In other words, be prepared.)
Click on the “Clear data” button
Unfortunately, I can’t find a “Continue where you left off” setting anywhere in the Brave Android app settings. Can you tell me the Settings menu order to get to it?
