Pixel 4 (up to date) after installation of Brave location is denied, notification are denied.
Over time when the brave app updates, location is set to allow (not by user but by brave on its own). I am made aware of this change when I see a sudden and significant change in my battery life. Google Play services reports 24/7 foreground use with 20-40% battery use
I go into brave’s app settings and re-deny location access. Battery drain ends. Google Play services returns to using 1-3% battery a day.
This has been happening since getting my Pixel 4 and for now I have removed Brave from my phone. My spouse also has a Pixel 4 with brave but does allow location (while in use) but has no battery drain challenges as a result.
