Additional information:
I’m using Microsoft Windows 10 Home 10.0.18362 Build 18362
Textual description
I have set 5.0 BAT as monthly auto-contribution (which is more BAT than i earn each month). Since not all my visited websites are verified publishers, usually a small percentage got contributed. For the last few months though, always the full 5.0 have been deducted from my account.
@gn0tto,
If I understand you correctly, you’re saying that the browser’s AC function is contributing all funds each month, regardless of how the funds are distributed across verified publishers? If so, this would imply that if you had, say 50BAT instead of 5, all 50 would be contriubuted?
Also, can you tell me if you go to Settings --> Rewards --> Auto-Contribute settings, whether or not the Show non-verified sites in list option is selected or not?
@gn0tto,
To avoid contributions to unverified creators, de-select that check box. As for your missing funds, it may be due to a separate issue we’re experiencing right now with Rewards. How long has the AC function been exhibiting this behavior?
Alright, deselected the setting. I considered this to be only a matter of visual display, not of functionality.
As for “how long” it’s actually hard to say, since Brave doesn’t display any history besides this month. I guess it has been ongoing for about 3-4 months.
@gn0tto,
Thanks for the information – I’m in close contact with the team on Rewards issues and will return when I have more information. Appreciate your patience.
I reproduced the issue, with a balance of 5.25BAT, but I had the limit set to 100 BAT.
I have now set the limit to 5 BAT per month, and will wait for next month’s contribution date to see if that limit works.
Where would be the appropriate location for feature requests ? (“Please keep a history or send email with breakdown of monthly contribution at contribution date”)
