When will Brave Rewards connect with other exchanges?

Likely never. Brave is trying to push for self custody and move away from custodial accounts. But who knows what things will be like going forward. Nothing is off limits.

Infinite loop sounds right. Brave won’t connect to UK verified uphold. Says log in to uphold to connect…verify text sent code. Verify email. Does nothing but repeats itself over and over.

Are you on Android? If so, try removing the Uphold app and verifying on the browser.

I’m also Canadian, I got an email from Uphold about it today. How would I be able to cash out in the future?

I mean what’s the point in answering questions if people are not actually reading and are just going to keep coming here to ask the same thing over and over again? And it really does seem to be a little slap in the face when someone asks the question in the middle of a thread where it was already answered.

Sorry for the little bit of attitude there on my response. I’m just another user who has dedicated a lot of time to helping people. I’ve been around on this forum for years now. For some reason there has been a huge influx lately of people who refuse to provide information, create tons of duplicate posts, don’t read big pinned messages, etc.
It can really make you start to question your sanity as you see the same questions over and over again, especially if you’re one of the people trying to help answer.
I think it may be due to the rise of AI. People now just expect to come and ask a question, get an immediate answer, and give no time or effort. They don’t know how to search for answers and don’t care to take the time to search or read even if they do know how.
Just comes down to a question of if that means all of those duplicate questions have to be ignored, become accustomed to just doing copy and paste replies to everybody and constantly have to repeat the same information over and over, or what?
Anyway, self custody is the way that it’s trending. There’s no quick and definitive thing on when that will be fully available. But it’s supposed to be rolling out here widely over the next month or so with Canada getting priority. If you haven’t done so already you probably will want to reset your Rewards profile so it’s in an unconnected state and can get the invite for Solana when it does become available. At which point you can get paid directly to a wallet instead of a custodial account.

I have this exact same problem with nightly on android @Evan123 - See screenshot. As you can see when you try to reconnect it does log you back into Uphold (and there’s the option to log back out) but the circle on the green button just keeps whirring and when you use Brave, despite logging in, it tells you youre still logged out.
Uphold are trying to force users to download the android app (forcing folk to use apps and removing their rights to use web login was a violation of EU, UK and US accessibility rules last time I checked). I don’t know whether that has anything to do with it.

I uninstalled app. But I was using through brave browser anyway. Of course it still won’t let me contribute or connect my fully verified UK uphold account. Same circle to log in, send text code, verify it’s me through email link. Does nothing at all.
@albie7 - Are you using the Stable or Beta version of Brave?
After you login and verify through email, are you able to go back into Brave Rewards and authorize access to Uphold?
I don’t know what Stable/Beta means.
After I do the steps to verify process it asks me to do repeat the process. In other worda nothing changes…Brave never connects my uphold account.
@albie7 they are different versions of Brave. There’s the normal browser (referred to as Release or Stable), then you also have Beta and Nightly that you can get. They all install and run independent of each other.
Beta and Nightly are the versions of Brave being worked on and still technically in testing. Often it can let you see upcoming changes and new features before it lands on the regular browser.

I still have no idea what this means and how would I know…I have been using it as my browser for 5 years? Brave won’t connect my already verified UK Uphold account no matter how many times I go through the cycle of trying to add it. I was hoping to get this sorted.
When you click the verification link from Uphold, does it redirect you back to Brave Browser or does it go to your default in-app email browser? You may need to copy/paste the verification link directly into Brave.
First I click on connect to brave. Says log-in to uphold which I do thru brave browser. Uphold sends me a 6 digit code via text. After typing the code it says we have sent an email to verify it’s you. Open the email and it is just saying ‘if this is you’ click the button ‘confirm’. Push confirm and it opens a window in brave browser that is the page of my portfolio in uphold showing my balance and suggesting to get the mobile app which I have done previously many times and makes no difference. On that same deposit page I click the brave symbol in the top right corner. That leaves me to the rewards page and there is a ‘contribute’ button in the top right…uphold.com is on the left side with a blue checkmark. In the middle of that same page there is a ‘connect account button’ Click on ‘contribute’ and a pop displays saying ‘creator currently only accepts contributions via uphold’. Click on connect account we start all over at log-in to uphold. It is a never ending loop that does nothing.
