I don’t want to turn off adblocker under settings and I don’t see the option I’m looking for to allow ads for certain websites is there a way to do this without turning off the brave shield? What exactly does turning off brave shields do ? I tried changing different settings under advanced but there isn’t anything for ads under advanced

Thanks for reaching out. The setting you see at the top there – Block cross-site trackers also – includes ads. If you toggle that setting “off”, ads will not be blocked. Note that doing this via the Shields panel only applies the settings to the site that you’re on. More on Shields functionality here:
