I want to allow specific domain names to advertise to me. I DO NOT care about Brave Rewards. I want those domains I allow to send me notifications. I DO NOT care about Brave Rewards. I want my new tab page to reflect those domain names I support. GIVE MY REWARDS TO THOSE DOMAINS that I explicitly support.

go to that site then turn off the shield for it and it will allow ads from it also click on the lock icon on left of the address bar to make sure the notifications permission is granted to it
also you can turn of brave reward if you like go to brave://rewards/ then turn it off

You can allow ads from whatever domains you choose, but they won’t get any rewards unless you AND they participate in Brave Rewards.
