Description of the issue:
Hi, loving Brave so want/need it to be perfect so it’s more used! but, crisis:
in 1 of THREE open profiles, all chock full of tabs (other profile windows function normally), each window lost 90% of tabs (of 3 windows, one missing, 1 with tabs filling tab area, 1 with not even enough remaining tabs to fill area). horrible in and of itself, but not the main subject of this report.
after this problem, every time i open a new tab in the window with open tab-area space, another tab in the area closes itself a few seconds later. Every time, so predictable I recorded the screen as it happened, a 3mb download temporarily available here:

How can this issue be reproduced?
- in an affected profile, open a new tab
- watch another tab disappears and appears under list of closed tabs
Expected result:
Never losing tabs or whole windows full of them in the first place;
New tab opens without affecting existence of any other tabs.

I have ADHD and MS which leads inevitably to a ridiculous number of open tabs; attempts at controlling my own behavior have so far failed. At least I manage to separate out specific activity to an appropriate profile! Out of 8, at least 3 are regularly open at once, each with several windows containing a stoopid (like the censor) amount of tabs; I love and use the vertical arrow dropdown tab list/search all the time since i discovered it a few weeks ago.
System is lower-end HP intel core i3 box with 16gb ram. Running linux mint, 20.2 I believe, updates kept current.
