Recently Brave has been pushing advertisements for illegal products and services. For instance it sending advertisements for “oil.club” which unquestionably and verifiably is a ponzi scheme (anybody with a basic understanding of smart contracts can verify this statement). And ponzi schemes are illegal in many jurisdictions, in particular also in the jurisdiction I am located in. This, in turn, violates Brave’s own advertisement selection policy.
I hope some action will be taken to remove this particular product / service from Brave’s ads list, and, perhaps more importantly, Brave reviews it’s selection and control processes so that in the future it does not make such a mistake again.
