Ads still showing up on youtube

Description of the issue: With just the brave shield up and aggressive blocking, I still receive ads. The ads don’t show anything just a black screen that you can’t skip. If i reload the extension it works but 5 mins later it doesn’t.

Did the issue present with default Shields settings? Yes

Does the site function as expected when Shields are turned off? Yes but still receives an ad

Does the ad appear when using a Private window as well? Yes

What OS are you using when you see the ad? Windows 11 Pro 26100.3476

Brave version (check About Brave): 1.76.74

i’m experiencing the same issue, except occasionally i do actually get an ad to come through.

ironically, my example is an ad for an ad blocker.

edit: i have since updated my browser since i took this screenshot, and the issue still persists.

I just started having this happen with me. There was an update but it didn’t do anything so I resorted to having to use an extension to stop this until a fix is pushed on the shields and uBlock.
