Ads seen this month: 104, Balance: 0 BAT VPN

Greetings all,

I’m having an issue on not receiving any BAT form ads I’ve seen. I’ve gone through older posts with people having this issue back in 2021 and reverting to a beta version of brave browser and that helping but have not seen a fix for the issue in 2025.

Uphold is connected. I do use a VPN but my understanding is that that should not affect payout. Maybe I’m wrong?

Hey Evan, reconnected Uphold probably a week ago.

That is likely the issue. Your account must be connected to Uphold to be eligible for a payment. If connected recently in January, your first payment will take place in February.

Ah, that would make sense! Wish it weren’t so but looks like I’ll have to see what February brings. Thank you, sir.

Quick follow-up Q if you don’t mind: Will ads being served this month carry over into February rewards or will January earnings just disappear into the ether?
