I got a notice ads were paused. I had to slide the slider. I did. Several times. You didn’t accept it. What’s your problem now?
@feraltamer sounds like you’re saying you failed the CAPTCHA. In any case, perhaps try to create a Rewards Support Ticket at https://support.brave.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360001302431 and see if they can help you. The form will have you provide them details they need to look more closely at your account and possibly help you find a solution
Know what? I kinda don’t care about the rewards. I downloaded Brave because I’m really tired of ads. So, that’s not going to change? As to your CAPTCHA, what is the slider I’m supposed to move, because nothing I move seems meaningful to your machine?
What do you mean? Ads still get blocked. Slider has to do with Brave Rewards, not with adblocking or anything.
I’m not sure if it’s changed, but it used to be that you needed to align the triangle. So slide to the proper spot. Part of why I also said to create the support ticket is because they might be able to better assist you. Some have reported that the CAPTCHA seemed broken and even when done properly, it wouldn’t progress. If that’s what you’re experiencing, it’s going to take someone that works at Brave to help you. And the support ticket is the absolute best method to get into direct contact with someone at Brave.
And to clarify, I’m another user here. I just spend time helping and triaging issues. I don’t work for Brave, so I’m a bit limited in aspects of helping. I just answer what I can and then either tag in people to help or point users in the right direction to get answers.
