Looks like I was able to reproduce, although it did take a while for the ad/popup to appear. Getting @fanboynz to take another look.

He will get to this when he is able to. Please understand that there is a litany of issues and jobs any one team member here at Brave is working on at one time. Sometimes an issue may take a moment to get looked at — we appreciate your patience.

please fix this it’s been more than a month

I have reached out multiple times regarding this issue and am yet to receive a response. This lack of communication is highly unprofessional and reflects poorly on the commitment to addressing user concerns.

I deserve to know why this matter is being ignored. Is it due to a lack of expertise, technical limitations, or some other reason? Silence only adds to the frustration, and it’s unacceptable to disregard user queries in this manner.

I expect a clear response and immediate action on this matter. Ignoring users is not the way to build trust or maintain credibility.

We’re not ignoring anything, any updates will occur on the official Github ticket.

Just to put it into perspective;

  1. Its only limited to Android, works fine on desktop.
  2. Its just the one website
  3. Doesn’t stop video playback on the site. manually close the popup when it occurs.
  4. Optionally using a different video mirror.

There are basic workarounds, we’re not saying its not important. But we’ll address when we can.

We work very hard to try and resolve as many issues we can for as many sites as we can but sometimes a fix will take a while. What would be “unprofessional” is to pull our developers off of other high priority issues and/or projects in order to resolve a non-urgent convoluted issue, that only occurs on one platform, that has a workaround (meaning that the site is not completely broken and can still be used) on a [relatively] niche website.

As said above, we do care and we do want to get this, among issues with many other sites, resolved so our users can enjoy a safe, private and annoyance free browsing experience but it may take a while to get to each of them. We appreciate your patience in the meantime.
