Ads IOS brave on reddit BUT not on IOS (with no extensions)

Brave on IOS(Iphone) is worse than Native Safari with no ad blockers specifically on reddit.

I am seeing promoted ads but when I switch to safari I don’t see them.

What is the reason for this?

I have some settings that come native to the iphone turned off like marketing ID etc. , but no additional extensions

EDIT: can clearly see the fidelity ‘promoted’ which no doubt has to due with my recent searches.
