Ads don't add up in counter

Hi everyone, I’m new here :slight_smile:

Description of the issue:
I just downloaded brave a couple of days ago (at the 30/01), everything worked fine until my add counter stopped counting the ads from the 01/02.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary): 1. 2. 3.

  1. open a new tab
  2. when there is an add, count it in the counter

Actual Result (gifs and screenshots are welcome!):

  1. see ads, but the counter is not changing (hence the bat stays the same)

Expected result:

  1. the add counter will work fine :slight_smile:

Reproduces how often:
in the last couple of of days, the counter didn’t add a single add although I’ve seen at least 15 of them.

Brave Version(about:brave):
Brave release - v1.19.90
