I opened a website that tests browser fingerprinting and noticed that it said I had an Adobe PDF extension installed. I looked in my extensions… I did not have it installed. I confirmed in brave://extensions and even enabled developer mode. I am in the Default profile. I also do not have “force install extensions” enabled in the registry. The browser also did not say “managed by this organization”… yet… it was still installed.
Upon navigating to the following registry key and removing the key for the extension, refreshing the fingerprinting detection website, the Adobe PDF extension went away from the detected extensions.

I believe this is a bug because Brave should say “Managed by your Organization” if certain settings are applied that force install extensions, especially if there is an extension installed without your knowledge and one that does not show up in Extensions…
