Admin.cloud.microsoft not working on Brave

Hi there,

The website https://admin.cloud.microsoft/ is not working for me with the Brave browser. I’m on the latest release - Version 1.75.178 Chromium.

The website opens fine for me in Firefox & also Edge.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Such as? Typically is helpful to give ideas of what’s happening. Especially if it’s giving any error messages or anything.

What have you tried? For example, have you done any of the basic troubleshooting things below?

  • Try with Shields off
  • Open private window and check on it
  • Add a second browser profile and test on it without adding extensions or changing settings
  • Test on Brave Beta or Brave Nightly to see if it works there

Sorry - not working - I get this error:

This page isn’t working

admin.cloud.microsoft is currently unable to handle this request.

HTTP ERROR 500

Ah - Private window works…

And new profile works… I guess I just need to ditch my current profile & start again - is there a way to import bookmarks & passwords between profiles?

@SWBC-Steve I’m not sure how familiar you are on the steps I provided, but just to make sure you know:

  • Shields = By disabling this it helps make sure it’s not any particular settings you have blocking content.

  • Private = Opens a session with no cookies and with all extensions disabled. As such, if an issue works in a private window but not a normal, you can assume it’s one of the two.

    • If you have extensions, you can try disabling them and see if it changes anything.
    • If no extensions or the above step doesn’t work, clear site data for that particular site
    • If neither of those work, delete all cookies…set time to All Time or at least to go back before your issue started.
  • New Profile = This creates a secondary profile that has no extensions installed and has the bulk of all settings to default. The only settings that remain the same are any custom content filters in Shields and any changes made to brave://flags. This means if it resolves in a new profile it’s either extensions or some setting you changed.

And since you said it works in Private, then it’s either cookies or an extension you’re using is creating some weird conflict.

So no need to ditch your current profile. You just have to use that step you took to figure out if it’s cookies or an extension. Should be simple enough to go through and figure out.
