Adding the CTRL+delete (delete behind cursor) functionality

I don’t think this is a bug and I’m fairly sure it might be a Chromium thing, but is it possible to add the CTRL+delete option for text editing in the browser? It would delete the space/word+space behind the text cursor. It’s available I believe everywhere (at least in the apps I use) except in Brave and Chrome.

It’s a useful feature for someone who types a lot and makes a lot of corrections as they type and keeps jumping through their text, and it really isn’t hard to implement - I’ve had to implement that logic for a university laboratory exercise.
