Brave has updated their wallet, but I am unable to add new networks such as AVAX or FTM to my wallet. I did most of my defi activity on these networks, how the heck do I add them in the new wallet

They moved the wallet network management to Settings > Wallet.

The currently easiest way is to go to https://anyswap.exchange/ and select the appropriate network next to the “connect wallet” option. When you select the network, it will give you an option to auto-populate the wallet with that network info.
