I have noticed the Video support on Brave search, but that cannot sufficiently solve the YouTube problem. There is a FOSS solution called Invidious, which fetches the YouTube video on behalf of the user, whose IP address and other info is not available to the user, but it has not caught on, and it will not catch on unless a major privacy centric tech brand such as brave were to support it. Brave video search would be the perfect place to do it, and proxying videos through Brave’s servers would make Brave search far superior to other search engines in terms of YouTube video playback. See https://github.com/iv-org/invidious for the source code.
