Add Email Alias Service (Like DuckDuckGo Email Protection)

Dear Brave Browser Team,

I’d like to submit a feature request for Brave to include a built-in email alias service, similar to the DuckDuckGo Email Protection feature. This functionality provides users with the ability to generate private, disposable email aliases that forward to their real inbox—helping to preserve privacy, reduce spam, and avoid data leaks.

Why This Matters:

  • Privacy Enhancement: Brave has built a strong reputation for privacy-first features. Email aliases align perfectly with this mission by preventing tracking and shielding users’ real email addresses from marketers and breaches.
  • Spam Reduction: Aliases can be deactivated or deleted if compromised or misused, reducing the need to manage unwanted emails manually.
  • Convenience & Trust: Built-in alias creation within the browser allows seamless use without relying on third-party tools. It would give users more control over their identity online.

Suggested Features:

  • Generate @brave.com (or another branded domain) aliases.
  • View and manage aliases from the browser’s privacy dashboard.
  • Block or deactivate individual aliases.
  • Strip trackers from incoming emails before forwarding (like DuckDuckGo does).
  • Optionally reply anonymously through aliases.

This feature would be a powerful addition to Brave’s privacy suite and further differentiate the browser in an increasingly privacy-conscious landscape.

Thank you for your time and for continuing to develop such a great product.
