Description:
Hello Brave Team,
I’m a long-time user of Brave on macOS and would like to suggest a small but impactful UI improvement.
Currently, the “Bookmark” button on the toolbar is only used for saving the current page. However, there is no button to quickly open or view saved bookmarks directly from the toolbar — unlike what we see on browsers like Chrome or Microsoft Edge, where a single click drops down a full bookmarks list.
Why this matters:
- Many users rely on bookmarks for quick access to frequently-used sites.
- Having to navigate to the hamburger menu or use keyboard shortcuts is inefficient for quick, repetitive tasks.
- A “Bookmarks Dropdown Button” on the toolbar would enhance usability and match the user experience offered by other browsers.
Feature Suggestion:
- Add a toolbar icon (e.g., folder/star icon) that, when clicked, opens a dropdown with all saved bookmarks and group tabs.
- Allow this icon to be toggled on/off via
Settings > Appearance
.
Thank you for your excellent work and for continuing to improve Brave. I hope this suggestion will be considered in future updates.
Warm regards,
