Hi!
I’ve been using Brave Search since DuckDuckGo went downhill.
One of their features I liked to use was the “I’m feeling ducky”
For example, if I type internet browser !
on ddg, I would not be redirected to duckduckgo, I’d go straight to their first result (whatever it may be)

This is a open feature which brave search team will need to implement.

This is a new thing I just learned.
On my end too, it works on ddg but not on brave search. As you said, brave search will need to implement this feature.
Try this method temporarily and see if it works out for you.

Using the Brave Browser > Bookmarks Manager . . .
Add a new bookmark:
Name: Go to top
URL: javascript:window.scrollTo%280%2C000000%29
Add a new bookmark:
Name: Go to bottom
URL: javascript:window.scrollTo%280%2C100000%29
