Ad notifications received this month number not going up (not getting Rewards for viewing ads)

Description of the issue:

I’ve clicked on at least 10 or so ad notifications/popups, and the “Ad notifications received this month” number has not gone up as a result. In the past, it sometimes would increase right away, or, take a few minutes and then go up, but it has stayed at 36 for the past 10 or so ad notifications clicked.

Steps to Reproduce (add as many as necessary)

  1. Ad notification pops up on desktop

  2. Click and view ad

  3. Nothing happens, no rewards received, no increase in number of ad notifications received this month

Expected result:

Ad notifications received number should go up, rewards should be received

Reproduces how often:

For the past few days, every time an ad notification pops up and is viewed

Operating System and Brave Version(See the About Brave page in the main menu):

Mac OS Mojave, 10.14.6

Hi @jcliu18,

Welcome to community, and thanks for reaching out! There is an expected delay between when you click the and engage the Ad and when your BAT reward appears.

hi @steeven and @TMcRae - thanks so much for the responses. I understand that there’s a delay, but this time around, it took about a day+…

But it does seem like my ad notification count is going up again, so maybe just a lot longer of a delay than usual? either way, appreciate the support!
