Description of the issue:
Starting today, I began receiving a popup informing me this: “Your browser has modified the list of active built-in filters” and apparently now only 1 filter can be active at any time.
I am also using AdGuard and Malwarebytes browser extensions.
From what I understand, all my security filters I had in place for my browser are now inactive and this is a big issue.
I understand that Chromium is the reason, but they reduced the list back in 2024, why wasn’t I affected until now? Did Brave have a workaround for that limit, and it worked until now?
If there will be no updates with a fix for this shitty situation I will switch to other browsers → maybe firefox.

@Ucinus can you try creating a new browser profile (Menu --> more tools --> Add profile) without the extensions, close your original profile window and test to see if you can enable multiple filters in the new profile? Where exactly does this message display?
On my end I don’t have any issue enabling multiple filters in the browser on Windows or macOS.
It seems that making a new profile resolved the issue for Malwarebytes but the issue is still there for AdGuard - but in the end I can live with it. The message appears when I open Brave (in the lower right corner) and every time I go to AdGuard extension.
