Briefly describe your issue:
I live in Tenerife, Canary Islands (Spain). Every other time my router receives an IP address from the internet service, it can be one of:
- A town close to mine
- The capital of my isle (Santa Cruz de Tenerife)
- (Rarely) a town on a island next to mine.
- 25% of the time, it is a Madrid IP address. 2060 kilometers away, across the ocean(!)
I guess this makes Brave detection systems go nuts, so I got my account flagged.
Now, I am in a supported region, however my account is flagged for months.
I received no help here, no response, no ticket answered ever as well.
What am I meant to do? Stop using Brave? Because I can get rewards just fine if I use Firefox and some addons.
What Operating System and Brave version are you using (Menu --> About Brave
)?
Version 1.43.93 Chromium: 105.0.5195.127 (Official build) (64 bit)
Is your browser wallet currently verified? (yes/no)
Yes
What date did you verify your wallet?
I have no idea about how to check it out, since I am flagged, disabled, cursed and burned into ashes.
Have you been able to successfully receive payments in the past?
I didn’t have accumulated enough for that.
Are you using a VPN? (yes/no)
No.
Are you in a supported region (see here for list of supported regions)?
Yes. Actually, Spain has 17 regions and your website says it’s enabled for 19…
Does your device pass the SafteyNet check (Android only)?
I am using a desktop computer.
Have you manually turned off Auto-contribute on all of your devices linked to Uphold??
No idea how to do it.
I am actually a new user and am having an hard time to even understand why I have to go through this torture just to log in.
