Description of the issue:
So you know when you visit certain websites while also having their desktop applications installed, Brave prompts you to open those links with the desktop application while also giving an option to Always open certain links with certain applications. I accidentally checked that box and now, whenever I click on a discord server invite link, Brave opens up the Discord app on my PC which I don’t want.
How can this issue be reproduced?
- Open Brave, click on a discord server invite link while the Discord desktop application being installed on your system.
- Brave would prompt you to open that link with the Discord app while also providing a checkbox to always open these type of links with Discord in the future.
- Check that checkbox. Now close Brave and the Discord app. Open Brave again and click on a discord server invite link.
Expected result:
Brave does what’s expected i.e. to open up the Discord app every time you click on a discord server invite link but I want to turn this off, I don’t want Brave to open up Discord every time I click on a Discord server invite link.

How do I turn off without clearing all my data, I saw another thread similar to this but they got a response from a user telling them to clear all their data from Brave, I don’t want to do this for obvious reasons.
